My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Handsome is the only way to describe Kirkland. He is an awesome 1 ½ to 2 year old blond lab mix who is average in size for a male lab at about 60 lbs. Kirkland is a very friendly boy and loves everyone and is great with other dogs. He loves to romp and play and his very favorite thing is the squeaky balls. Give him a squeaky ball and he is one happy boy, he loves his toys. Kirkland walks well on a leash with just a little pulling, but is easily corrected. He loves to go for walks and explore. He would make a great running partner too as he has the typical young labby boy energy and would thrive on that type of activity. Kirkland would be considered medium energy. He loves to get hugs and ear scratches and to just be loved and told what a good boy he is. He takes treats very gently and likes the soft chewy ones especially. Kirkland seems to be interested in the kitties, but not in an aggressive way – he would just like to play with them. Kirkland would make a great fit for just about any family and has been well socialized with men, women and older children. If you are looking for a best friend and a loyal companion, then Kirkland is your boy.
Kirkland is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies, and micro-chipped. He is also on flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative. Kirkland is crate trained.
