Ceily was lucky she was around that night we were out rescueing cats for the big clinic the next PCCC clinic the next day. She was a regular in a backyard near 16th and Lehigh along with a very pregnant cat ( Bee) and a few others. All within 30 minutes were trapped and off to start a new chapter in their lives. Ceily was scared but it was obvious she was a friendly girl at heart. She tested neg at the clinic and was spayed and given all her shots. Unfortunately she was ear-tipped even though she was not to go back out. Anyway, she is soaking in the good life inside a house and getting used to being loved for the first time in her life. She hides in corners but welcomes your attention and has already made progresss. In no time, with a little more TLC, she will be a lap cat and have you wrapped around her tail.

Green Street Rescue (GSR) is an all volunteer non-profit whose goal is to humanely reduce the stray cat population in Philadelphia, through rescue work and adoptions and the practice of Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage (TNRM) for feral cats.
