Maynard's Story...
Maynard is a wanna be tuxedo. He is black with some white. He is named for Maynard G. Krebbs because he has a white gotee on his little black face. He is very affectionate & likes attention but not so much that he HAS to be on your lap like the others. He stays inside. He is the one that his sister Bitsy plays with the most. He loves to chase around the house with other cats, especially his brother Blue Bear. He is a talker, though he has a kind of high-pitched sqeak more than a meow. If you think Maynard would make a good addition to your household, email me (kittens4adoption@zoomtown.com) & we'll make arrangements.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maynard, a Milford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Milford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
