Elvis's Story...
This handsome, fluffy baby is Elvis. He is only around 3-4 months old, his baby teeth are still coming in. Baby Elvis is going to be a BIG boy (100lbs+), he already weighs around 40lbs. He is very sweet, friendly and affectionate. Baby Elvis likes other dogs and kids too. Since he can be protective of his food (to prevent the sheep from eating it), we will place him in an adult home only. We are looking for a family for Baby Elvis that is experienced in training large working dogs and that will continue the training we started in his foster home.

Our adoption procedures are described on the home page. A donation of $250 is required at the time of adoption. To submit an on-line application to adopt sweet Elvis, please

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elvis, a Baltimore Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
