Spartacus's Story...
Spartacus is a handsome and very sweet boy we met at Animal Care and Control of Philadelphia and we instantly fell in love with his stunning good looks and incredible personality. Spartacus just has an amazing personality and a zest for life! We were determined to get this boy to safety and thankfully we are able to do that with one of our foster homes! Spartacus at about 1 yr of age found himself in the shelter because his owners could no longer care for him. Spartacus has lived with other dogs, cats and children prior to finding himself at the shelter. While at the shelter he was very social with all of the other dogs he was able to meet and really loved meeting so many new people. This sweet boy isn't only handsome and a lover of all people but he also knows the sit and come commands and will move along in training while in his foster home. You can watch for updates here on this awesome dude! for more info visit www.lcpoinc.org or email nepabullies@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spartacus, a Hillsborough Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Hillsborough, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Hillsborough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsborough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsborough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsborough paves the way for another one to be saved.
