Teddi's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Teddi's Story...
Teddi came to us as a young baby that was found on the side of the road. She is now around 14 weeks old and is a lovely, quiet, well mannered puppy with a soft personality and she loves everyone.Teddi needs pictures updated because she is small and her nose is longer and she's built more like a shelter than a shepherd like we originally thought. Her breed is totally a guess on our part but she appears like she will stay medium size when full grown. Puppy adoption includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, dewormer, brief health exam, and microchip. Adoption fee for puppies is 100.00. No animals are vetted until they have been adopted. They must be spayed/neutered prior to leaving the shelter to go to their new home. For questions please call 985-651-7387

Act quickly to adopt Teddi. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddi, a Laplace Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Laplace, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Laplace.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Laplace already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Laplace breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Laplace paves the way for another one to be saved.
