My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Honey, an absolutely precious year-old, 50 pound husky mix. Honey is a love, and is sweeter than honey, hence the name! Honey was found running along a busy highway, and after her foster family saw her almost get hit they decided to pull over and take her home! We never could locate an owner so Honey is now looking for a new home to call her own, and we have promised her a forever home this time! Honey is wonderful and adjusted easily to her foster home. Honey is crate trained and housebroken in her foster home, and sits very nicely for treats and takes them gently. Honey rides great in the car and just loves to be a part of the group. Honey is friendly with all people and other animals, and mostly just wants to play, but settles down very well, too. Honey has been around kids as young as five and adores them, along with anyone else. Honey gets along very well with the other dogs in her foster home, and has never had an issue. Honey loves the cats, too, but they do not always love her, so she may not be the best with cats depending on the cat’s temperament. Honey is not aggressive in the least, but does try to play with them, so the cats generally separate themselves. Honey is very smart and is a great listener. She would excel with formal training. Honey’s foster mom says that if they had room for another permanent dog they would keep Honey forever. She is going to be someone’s “best dog ever!” Honey will be a great fit for any home with the time and love for a young dog. Honey is a gem, and we cannot wait to help her find her forever family! Please email us at info@FORRrescue.net if you think Honey is the girl for you! Honey is being crossposted for an individual rescuer and your inquiries will be forwarded to the foster home. Honey is being fostered in the Huntsville, AL area.
