My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Myron and I’m looking for a forever family who will embrace my exuberance, play and exercise with me often, and most importantly, love me as much as I know I’ll love you! I’m about one or two years old and a golden mix. I was chained outside when LAGR rescued me from the cold, but I’m very comfortable in the house and my foster parents were very impressed that I was already house trained and knew how to walk on a leash when I moved in with them in February. I’m not sure what type of dogs my mom and dad were, my foster mom thinks I’m mostly golden but I must say I have a very handsome “mane” and some darker coloring on my tail. (It’s hard to see in my pictures so you should come to one of our adoption events to meet me.) She does agree that while I act like a typical retriever, I’m not 100% golden-partly because of my looks but mostly because I’m not quite as hyper and am a better listener than other goldens my age. I am still a big puppy and LOVE to play but I enjoy snuggling with my foster family just as much as I love wrestling and running in the yard. I get along great with my canine foster sisters and do well with kids but am told I’m a little too interested in cats so would probably do better in a cat-free home.
