Mordecai's Story...
Meet Mordecai! He has the cutest permanent smile! He is a 8 week old Lab/Hound mix pup and so very sweet. Since he is just a puppy he will do fine in a home with other dogs and even cats, however we always require any current canine in the household to meet prior to adoption. He is a typical puppy who is FULL of puppy energy! Like all pups he would benefit from a home willing to take him to dog training classes. His adoption fee is $250. Includes neuter and current on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mordecai, a STERLING HEIGHTS Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in STERLING HEIGHTS, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in STERLING HEIGHTS.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in STERLING HEIGHTS already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a STERLING HEIGHTS breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in STERLING HEIGHTS paves the way for another one to be saved.
