Amber's Story...
Meet..Amber. Amber is such a pretty girl. She was pulled out of the Sebring shelter a few weeks back and is now spayed and up to date and ready for her new home. Amber is very quiet and loving and a very easy girl. She is only about a year old and is a collie mix. She doesn't like to play much with other dogs, just hang out with you, so would love to be someone's baby or have an older, calm buddy. Amber is fostered with Kim in Dunedin. Contact

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amber, a Largo Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Largo, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
