Lila's Story...
Lila is a 5 year old gal with a heart of gold. We think Lila is still sad that she was surrendered to the shelter by her previous owners. She misses them and is not sure what is going on and why she is here. But as most dogs are, she is resilient and is doing her best to deal with what's been handed to her. She enjoys being outside, and walks wonderfully on leash, but doesn't like taking ve...ry long walks. She will keep going with lots of encouragement and using another dog as enticement can usually get her to make a nice lap around the trail. As Lila continues to show us more of her personality we'll update her bio! In the meantime, you may the exact person she's waiting for, so come on over to AHS-Tinton Falls and meet Miss Lila today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lila, a Tinton Falls American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Tinton Falls, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Tinton Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tinton Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tinton Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tinton Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
