Ruff Ruff! My name is King
|Size:||X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more||Sex:||Male||ID#:||73370|
I am purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Regal, majestic, incredibly handsome. Just a few words to describe King, a 2 year old Cane Corso that was found as a stray. Many amazing people tried to find his owners, but it seems it was not to be. So King is looking for a home befitting his regal status. King is also sweet, friendly, a bit silly and well mannered. He walks well on leash, knows sit, takes treats gently and adores getting attention, especially some butt rubs. You can tell he appreciates it by the full body wiggle you get in return. King will be a wonderful addition to a home that has experience and a love of big dog breeds!

When you come in to adopt it is an application process. You will need to fill out the application; upon approval you will need proof of homeownership, mortgage, tax, or sewer bill. If you rent your home, you will need a copy of your lease showing it is ok for you to have pets. If it is not in your original signed lease you will need to get a notarized letter from your landlord. Cat adoption fees are $75.00 plus $50.00 for the spay/neuter. Dog adoption fees vary. Please feel free to call the office with any question; we are here 7 days a week for adoptions between 12pm and 5pm.
The Associated Humane Societies, founded in 1906, is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey. We comprise three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls . Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park Zoo. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park Zoo is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not for profit, 501 (c) 3 organization, and Popcorn Park is also a federally licensed zoo. The Society prides itself on our devotion to the thousands of animals that we care for annually and the chance for a better life we offer them. Please learn more about the Society and Popcorn Park Zoo throughout our web site, watch A Century of Caring, visit the zoo, public service, giving back, and the various programs we have for them. Come back often ... good things are always happening because AHS cares!
