Jarvis's Story...
Jarvis is a really great dog. He is funny and energetic. He is very active and loves to play with his tennis ball. Jarvis loves new games and playing 'tug of war' with his doggie friends. Jarvis has the loyalty of a Chihuahua and the intelligence and resourcefulness of a terrier. If you are looking for a dog that you can play fetch with and spend the afternoon in the park, then Jarvis is your guy. He loves walks, car rides, just hanging out. Jarvis is crate trained and very sensitive to the moods of his loved ones. A big dog in a little dogs body, would be the best way to describe him. Jarvis was to be killed at Stockton Pound on the morning that he was rescued. He is a very lucky fellow and he deserves the best in life. Jarvis has a cataract in one eye but this does not seem to affect his personality. He is a very special and loving dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jarvis, a Lodi Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Lodi, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Lodi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lodi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lodi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lodi paves the way for another one to be saved.
