She was found in the backyard of one of foster parents who only fosters dogs. He contacted the adoption coordinator and she found a foster home for her that had another kitten about her age so she went there. During her stay, she has been around smaller dogs and really has had no issues. She is very indepent and is not a cuddler, but she needs at least one dog to pick on and play with her. She is really not a people cat very indepent cat, but she loves to pick on what she considers her dogs which are the puppies that are now a year old and three times her size.
It is suggested as with all feline adoptions to keep a new companion indoors for a several weeks so they become familiar with the new surroundings. It is also good to make sure they have a 'special' area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
