Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Desi is a one-year old, female beagle with lots of personality. Her brown and white markings make her a beauty too. She is very affectionate with us (her foster parents) and our 6 year old resident beagle. She has endless affection by wanting to cuddle on the couch, giving lots of kisses and playing with our beagle.
The snow is a favorite playground for Desi and our beagle. They love to play and chase each other outside. A fenced in yard would be ideal for her. She also loves to go on walks. Desi has lots of energy and also loves to play with stuffed animals when inside. She does need to be watched so that she doesn't chew something that's a no-no.
During the day Desi is usually playing with her toys or cuddling. Foster parents are home with her during the day and she's a good girl. She loves food and will counter-surf when food is left out. It will be wise to keep garbage cans closed or out of reach.
She does not like to be crated. We only crate her when we leave to do errands. She will not mess her cage.
Desi is potty trained and will go outside, but you need to read her signal when she goes by the door or let her out every so often. She has had a couple of accidents when foster parents did not pick up on her signals.
