My name is Freckles and, yes, it’s true. I am seriously freckled on my legs & belly (which btw I love to have rubbed). The rest of me is warm, caramel brown & I have golden brown eyes. I’m mostly beagle with a little bit of basset in the mix. I’m on the small side – only 27 lbs – short, long & lean!
My foster family has two beagles. I get along fine with them. We like to run out the doggie door together. They bark & bark but I save my barking for important moments like when my foster mom & dad leave or come home. Sometimes they steal my food or treats but I never kick up a fuss. I know that I’ll get some more food soon so it’s not worth getting upset over.
My foster family has a fenced in yard which is nice. But I’d be happy with a few long walks each day. It’s nice being outside & sniffing around but I don’t live to be outside like my foster brother beagle does.
Dogs are alright but I’m all about the peeps. I helped out at an event to raise money for us beagles & I was happy to see everyone! I got to meet tons of new people & everyone wanted to pet me….it was the best. Maybe I like people more than dogs because of their laps?? I’m a gold medal cuddler. The little girls from across the street come & visit me. I really like them too even tho their laps are kinda small.
