Peanut's Story...
Please pick Peanut, he will steal your heart. Peanut is a one year old Husky/Bulldog mix that was surrendered to Friendship with his housemate J' La. Their family had a change in lifestyle and couldn't keep them any longer. Neither have been around small children or cats, but are fine with most dogs. Peanut would love a fenced in yard to run and play. His family described him as a social butterfly that is active and playful. He enjoys agility, fetch, toys, tug of war and most of all treats! Stop by and check out this big baby...Peanut.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Elyria Husky/American Bulldog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/American Bulldog for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Husky/American Bulldog puppy from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/American Bulldog breeders who help with Husky/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
