My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chopper the Popper!! Chopper was one of three Chihuahua’s found in an abandoned house. They were being fed, they were alone the majority of the time. Chopper was the unlucky of the three, when it was discovered he was HW+ (he has already received his treatment). He is a friendly black and tan Chihuahua that likes to play with stuffed toys, alone and with his foster brother. He loves his meal times and gets very excited and jumps (POPS) off the ground about 10 inches straight up from a stand still. He’s been a great boy for his foster mom with very little barking, despite a lot of household activity. He does not like to be scolded (but doesn’t need to be).. he cowers to the ground at loud voices. He’s not in a house with children but got to meet some nice kids at a park and did well with them and around other dogs. Chopper walks well on a leash and is crate trained and is content on the sofa with his foster. He is up to date on vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, being treated for HW, had corrective surgery for “cherry eye” and recently had a dental cleaning. He’s seen a lot in his short life span and now wants to POP on over to easy street in a FORever home. He is being fostered in Huntsville, AL. For more information email INFO@FORrescue.net
