I am already spayed, housetrained, and good with cats.
She's every kitty's favorite friend! All kitties love her! Her name is Jayden, and she's a female domestic short hair tortie. Jayden is a shy girl, but please don't mistake the look on her face as crabby or mean. Photos terrorize her, so she always has that "deer-in-headlights" look about her on pictures. But she's sweet as can be and very loving.
She'd never hurt a flea or claw anyone. She's a submissive, gentle, little loving soul. Jayden is always scared when she's in a new situation, but once she has time to adjust to a new environment and trust that her humans will be gentle and loving with her, she'll let you pet her, and she'll even come to you for affection. With the right person (or family) -- a really patient one -- Jayden could become a really great companion. She's loving and faithful, and she enjoys the sound of your voice when you talk to her. She'd thrive if her human gave her lots of attention and enjoyed being with her.
She's absolutely fabulous with other kitties, but she also could do well as an "only" kitty who gets all the love and attention from her guardian. Her adoption fee is a reduced $90.

St. Louis Pet Rescue adopts to the St. Louis Metropolitan area.
St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.
We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
