Abigail's Story...
Abigail is a beautiful long-haired, buff-colored cat. She's approx. 5 years old and we believe that she has been spayed. Abigail is an absolute princess but she came to us in rough shape. She had a defective, infected toenail which has since been trimmed and treated. Her gorgeous coat was terribly matted, so we had to shave most of the hair off her back. It will grow back quickly, and with a bit of regular brushing from her new owner, her coat will stay beautiful. Abigail is sugar sweet, stunningly pretty, and needs a home where she will be pampered and loved like the royalty that she is!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abigail, a Colville Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Colville, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Colville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colville paves the way for another one to be saved.
