Jay's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Jay's Story...
This is one cool friendly male rottie. He loves to play with tennis balls, He is house broken, walks well on a leash and seems to know basic commands. He does not do well with young children, but did well with limited testing with other dogs. He was a volunteer favorite at the shelter and they actually hid him in the back room to escape euthanasia while they waited for Rotten Rottie to return from a trip out of town (for an entire week). Employees rarely will go to such extremes to save a dog there, so you know I am not the only one that thinks this boy has that special something! Schedule a time for you to meet him and you will see for yourself!!! He would be better off in a home with someone who has rotie experience, knows a bit on how to be a pack leader or is eager to learn, and lives in a home that is quite without a ton of traffic and activity inside the home. We are also searching for a foster home for Jay, which is the perfect way to try a dog out for compatibility before making a commitment. If it doesn't work out, you can give him back with no guilt!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jay, a Gilbert Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
