I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Gingersnap is a 2 year old red bicolor Aussie and is very special girl. When we rescued her, she was semi-feral and fearful. She seemed like she had not been in a house before, and spent all of her time lying in a corner of an out of the way room, too afraid to come into the house with the rest of the dogs and family. With the assistance of a great pack of dogs, Gingersnap finally came around and realized that being part of a family is a great thing! She is a fully integrated family member now, and even occasionally will sleep in the bed with us. She just adores other dogs, and has now learned how to play with toys with them and she enjoys playing in the kiddie pool as well. It is just wonderful to see the happy, secure girl she has become right before our eyes.
Gingersnap is finally ready to find her forever home, but she needs a patient owner who will understand her background and continue to work with her. She isn’t fearful anymore, but is shy and demure by nature so a quiet home without children would probably be best for her. She also MUST have another dog in the home. She is not confident enough to be an only dog and I think trying to make an only dog of her might set her back a bit. Gingersnap is an extremely sweet, loving girl who will wake you up in the morning with tail wags and kisses, and is looking for the perfect person whose life she can fill with joy. Gingersnap has been spayed, tested negative for heartworms, is current on vaccinations and heartworm/flea preventatives, is microchipped, and available for a $275 tax-deductible adoption donation.
