My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tika is a beautiful girl. She comes from champion parents where I would assume she gets her good looks. Her looks however are nothing compared to her personality and lovely demeanour. Tika is a total family pet - loves children, great with strangers, good with other pets. She is a big, beautiful, well behaved, loyal and loving companion. Tika is 5 years old.

Tika came to us from a loving family who through unfortunate events was unable to continue caring for her. She was bought as a puppy and has been with the one family for the duration of her short life. She has been well socialized, knows all her basic commands and was used to being a loved part of the family. She adores children and in her previous home she slept with the one son (9 year old) and it was her job to wake all the children for school each morning.

Tika knows her basic commands and is very clean and well behaved in the home. She is a joy at the dog park and her recall is great. She was not walked often and does pull some however walking her with a halti, she is fine. She is totally house trained and is fine being crated however she does not need to be crated as she can be trusted in the home with no issue. She is used to living with another dog and is fine with other dogs of all sizes. She also grew up with cats in the home.

Tika will make a wonderful family pet and companion. She would do well on her own or with another friendly dog in the home. She has no aggression issues whatsoever. She will bark when someone comes to the door but is friendly with people of all ages, especially children. She is a large dog and will need at least one good walk each day and preferably a back yard to play in. She enjoys trips to the dog park, cuddling on the couch and just being with her people. She can be left on her own for a full working day but definitely needs to be a respected member of her pack. She wants to be with people and is interested in whatever you are doing. She listens very well to commands and is a very loyal and loving dog.

If you are looking for a German Shepherd, and one with an outstanding personality then Tika may be the one for you.
