Freddy's Story...
Meet tiny Freddy. Freddy was pulled from a very high kill shelter in SE KY. Freddy weighs approximately 5lbs. and is about 4 years old. Freddy is such a doll and just loves attention. He will dance around on his little back legs begging for you to pet him. Freddy gets along great with other dogs and ignores cats. He is just getting started on house-training so his new owners must be patient with his progress.

Freddy will be neutered, up-to-date with vaccinations, heartworm tested, microchipped, given a fecal exam, and dewormer, along with flea preventative. If you are interested in adopting Mr. Freddy, please email bettinav@hotmail.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freddy, a Hazard Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Hazard, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Hazard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazard paves the way for another one to be saved.
