ANGELIA's Story...
Meet Angelia, a Treeing Walker Coonhound girl who we assume was born about a year ago, around April 1, 2012. She weighs around 55 lbs. Don't be fooled with her having that sad, sad look that comes with her breed, she is a very happy, happy girl. Angelia is your typical Hound that loves to run and play and then sleeps as hard as she plays. Angelia is still learning house manners. She is leash trained and housetrained. She gets along with all her playmates, loves people and loves attention. Angelia is ready for a family to call her own. Regretfully we are no longer able to adopt to RI and MA applicants. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT or 615-661-5333

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ANGELIA, a Portland Treeing Walker Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in Portland, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
