Apple's Story...
Apple is one sweet girl!!! She is 8-9 months old and already weighs 72 pounds. We believe her to be an Anatolian Shepherd, Saint Bernard, Great Pyr, Hound mix! In other words, she is a big sweet MIX! What we do know is that she is a good girl and will make some lucky family very happy! Apple is housebroken and crate-trained. She loves people and absolutely loves riding in the car; her foster mom takes her on a ride every day after work! She will go wherever you will take her. She also walks wonderfully on leash. Apple does not enjoy the company of other dogs and would prefer to be an only child. If you are interested in making Apple a part of your family, please email us at info@FORrescue.net to apply. She is spayed, current on all vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. Apple is being fostered in Huntsville, AL but is available for transport to your area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apple, a Hagerstown Anatolian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Anatolian Shepherd for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Anatolian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
