Teddy Bear is a 2yo Retriever-Staffy mix who was originally rescued from Fort Worth shelter. The rescue needed help while boarding him and he came into our program, where he was treated for severe entropin, heartworms, and was neutered. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped and HW- now, and his eyes are fully healed. He is a very gentle, quiet, affectionate and loyal companion and a cherished part of his foster home. Teddy Bear knows commands, is house trained, has nice leash and car manners and enjoys dogs his own size. He is not reactive to cats and likes children as calm and gentle as himself. He has shiny black fur with caramel brindle accents that sheds minimally. Dallas area. To inquire about making Teddy Bear part of your loving home, please email Christy at bodyworker1@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Colleyville, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Colleyville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colleyville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colleyville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colleyville paves the way for another one to be saved.
