GEORGIA's Story...
Meet sweet, adorable, smart GEORGIA. Rescued from a bad situation and life of breeding she is approx. 4 months old, is up to date on immunizations and is microchipped.

From Georgia's amazing foster mommy...
Georgia is doing *great* with her potty training. Her pen is dry every night now, and she's really good about running to the back door when she needs to go out. Georgia knows Sit and Up (for being picked up). She knows No and is starting to learn Drop It. When you call Georgia's name, she comes running to you! (But, in general, her comfort level for how far away you can go without her is about five feet... then she's immediately running after you.) Georgia is starting to learn how to walk on a leash. She thinks it's a bit strange, but she is adjusting. Mostly she's just excited to explore the big wide world outside of our backyard at last! She also travels well inside of a puppy papoose (those little sling bag carriers). Usually if she's in your arms, she falls asleep in about ten minutes. She rides very well in the car, staying in her little dog bed. Georgia is adjusting well to daily brushing. She does put up an initial fuss, but she settles down nicely on your lap for brushing. She is teething (she's got a lot going on in her little mouth - the tiny puppy teeth are giving way) so she is constantly chewing, the poor thing. She is learning to not chew on people, but it's an ongoing lesson. She is a really good girl and such a delight to train.

We require an application, home check, contract, spay/neuter or deposit (if too young for spay/neuter at time of adoption) and adoption donation. GEORGIA 's adoption donation is $300.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GEORGIA, a Mission Viejo Bichon Frise/Maltese puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Maltese for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Maltese puppy from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Maltese breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
