This golden girl was surrendered to Chicago Animal Care and Control on St. Patrick's day weekend, along with her three orange daughters, two of whom were adopted as a pair. Beautiful Sophia and her remaining kitten Dorothy are available for adoption as a pair. Sophia is extremely sweet and only a kitten herself at under a year old. She is a Siamese mix and has gorgeous ice blue eyes. She and her kitten Dorothy are great friends and wonderful playmates for each other. Their adoption fee of $200 as a pair includes a spay, microchip, vaccines, and virus testing. Please email us at carfforanimals@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophia, a Chicago Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
