Here's what the humans have to say about me:
2 y/o Buttercup is so sweet that her foster family has renamed her “Candy”! At 15 inches tall, Candy weighs 20+ pounds. This beautiful lemon beagle was found running loose in the streets south of Houston and came to HBHR through one of our local shelters to find a new home.
Candy is very loving and gets so excited when she sees you that her whole body wiggles, even when you have only been out of the room for 5 minutes. She will always have a waist because of the exuberant wiggling that she does! This little girl also loves giving kisses, so be prepared to be showered with love from this snuggle bunny.
Candy is fully housebroken with or without a dog door. She sleeps quietly all night on a chair or dog bed. She is not kenneled in her foster home and rarely gets into anything. She is great with small kids and with other canine buddies. Candy is playful and rarely bossy when playing beagle games. She walks on a leash without pulling. Candy’s only flaw is that she is an escape artist, so must have a secure fence and people that will make sure she is on a leash before opening the front door. If you have a wrought iron fence, this is not the girl for you. Candy is tiny enough to squeeze through and will then lead you on a merry chase! If you are looking for a delightful little sweetheart, then look no further…apply today to come and meet this little lady!
