Bruce's Story...

This adorable little man is Bruce – a purebred Boston Terrier who is 11 years old. Bruce and his brother Teddy lost their home when their mom passed away so the boys came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue in search of a new home.

Handsome boy Bruce is such a sweet boy with everyone he meets he would do well in most any household – probably kids over 6 due to his age, although you’d sure never guess he is 11. He is a cuddler if you let him and loves to sit with you. He is a confident and calm little man.

This guy is full of energy and loves to go for walks and play. Get out the leash and he’s ready to go, open a car door and he’s REALLY ready to go. He does not know any basic commands but does walk pretty well on a leash. Bruce does occasionally jump up when he is excited and begging for attention, but otherwise has wonderful house manners. He is crate trained, house trained and knows how to use a dog door.

Bruce and his brother Teddy have spent almost their entire lives together so we would prefer that they be adopted together.

There is a $25 fee to adopt me but I'm so worth it!

If you have room in your hearts for these boys, please fill out an application so my foster mom can contact you,

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruce, a Boise Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Boise, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Boise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boise paves the way for another one to be saved.
