Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chloe is about four years old and now she is a graduate of basic training school! Chloe absolutely loves to play and has lots of energy! She also enjoys listening to music, especially Christmas songs. Chloe is affectionate and has won the hearts of the volunteers at the shelter. Chloe is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Often people confuse her breed with the Pit Bull Terrier, but these two breeds are separate. The American Staffordshire Terrier was recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) in 1936. It was described as a breed that is affectionate and, conversely, needing of affection and attention from humans in order to thrive. The breed is alert and playful and enjoys dog sports like flyball and rally and the stimulation of active games. American Staffordshires are talented as watch dogs and solid companions, very loyal to their families. For this reason they typically do best when they are the single dog in the house. However, Chloe is accepting of male dogs as long as they are calm and friendly.
Chloe is energetic and will probably do best with an experienced adopter in a home with adults and possibly older children who can all be consistent with her routine. She loves to ride in the car and her energy is equally matched by her love of a good cuddle. Chloe is such a happy girl and is waiting patiently for the forever home that she deserves.
