Matt's Story...
Matt is an older sweetie. The vet says he is about 12 yrs old he is so quite you barely know he is around. He get's along with dogs and cats, I don't have small children so he has not been exposed to any small children. At his age I don't think he would find small one's as endearing as we do. He is very quite he just likes to be wherever his human is even if it's to just stand there and stare at you. :) He will make a great companion for someone, he is house trained and goes out very easily, he usually does what he needs to do and comes right back in. He is missing teeth on his left side but he eat's well. I have fed him wet food and he eats some dry food like my dogs. He got on schedule with our routine right away. He get's up with my dogs goes outside then comes in to get his treat on my way out the door to work. He totally ignores any other animal (cat's included). He's quite content in his own bed, he has on in the living area where we are at night and one in my room beside my bed he sleeps in at night. He does get excited at treat time or dinner time and is so cute he has his sweet little bark and wiggle to let you know he is ready. He rides in the car very well, he just lays down in his seat and enjoys wherever you take him. He can't hear very well but responds to claps and hand motions. He will follow you all over the place and just wait to be loved on. Matt is up to date on all his shots, neutered, and will arrive to PA on 03/09/2013. Adopt Him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Matt, a North Wales Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in North Wales, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in North Wales.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Wales already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Wales breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Wales paves the way for another one to be saved.
