Ruff Ruff! My name is Rex
|Breed:||Shar Pei Mix||Color:||Unknown||Age:||Adult|
|Size:||Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)||Sex:||Male||ID#:||5494490-A12148170|
I am already neutered and not good with dogs.
Rex is an energetic and goofy 3-year-old SharPei/Shepherd mix. This powerhouse athlete can climb mountains and easily run 5-10 miles daily (both activities he enjoyed in his previous home). Rex is undeniably cute with his winsome floppy ears and his ready smile. He enjoys meeting new people, exploring everything, and going for car rides. Rex is still very puppy-like in terms of both energy and education.

He'll need an outdoorsy person who can keep up with him both physically and mentally, and who can provide him with some basic positive reinforcement training,patience, and structure so he understands what is expected of him in a new home. An ideal home for Rex is one that can provide this sweetie with lots of daily love and exercise and consistent guidance. You'll love to meet Rex!
As with all of our dogs, Rex has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and behavior-tested. He will go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and an identification tag. PLUS, most dog adoptions include six weeks of training in one of our on-campus dog behavior courses - a great way to start off on the right paw!
Introduce to children over the age of 10 years. Rex will need to be the only dog in the home. Introduce to very dog-savvy cats. Please see our adoption advisors for additional behavior information.
