Ariel's Story...
Our newest Paws Princess didn’t come from the streets of Plainville, she came from under the sea… This Little Mermaid is not waiting around for a Prince though, she is looking for a new forever family. Ariel came from a castle where she had a lot of siblings but she needs a new home with no young children where she can be the only pet. If you can help this damsel in distress then please come and make her part of your world… Ariel has been declawed, spayed, combo tested negative and is up to date with her regular shots. If you are interested in meeting Ariel or other cats/kittens in our care waiting for a home, please call 508-695-4707 (leave a message if need be!). Paws of Plainville, Inc. is dedicated to helping the homeless cats in the local area. We are an all volunteer, nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible and can be sent to P.O. Box 2236, Plainville, MA 02762. For more information, please visit us at www.pawsofplainville.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ariel, a Plainville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plainville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Plainville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainville paves the way for another one to be saved.
