Mona's Story...
Hi, my name is Mona. I am a beautiful girl. I love to sit in the window and look pretty, and sit in your lap and purr. When I was lost and alone, I was picked up as a feral cat. They had me spayed and tipped my ear. Then they realized I was far from feral. I am too sweet and love people. Come visit me and I will sit in your lap and steal your heart.

You can see Mona and all of her friends on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/CatNapLodge.

Please call 269-567-0328 to make an appointment to visit Mona.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mona, a Richland Turkish Van cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Van for sale in Richland, or seeking a Turkish Van cat from a breeder in Richland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Van breeders who help with Turkish Van rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richland paves the way for another one to be saved.
