Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mr. Corbin is…in a word…FUNNY! This black and rust fella has a docked tail, natural ears, and an extra dose of personality. Corbin never met a dog or a human that he didn’t like, and he has no idea that his breed has been considered “vicious.” He may never make a great watchdog, but with some love and continued lessons he could prove to be one of the finest Dobergents ever to pass through our rescue. Since he is probably just over a year old, Corbin is definitely a PUPPY and has all the exuberance and energy you would expect, but he is also very smart and catches on quickly to commands. He can calm down and concentrate if you give him a task. He has taken very well to training and now knows his basic commands and walks well on the leash. He LOVES going for walks and playing with other dogs of any size, and he definitely needs lots of exercise. He is housebroken and crate trained, but he needs some continued training before being alone in the house. He is not destructive – just enthusiastic and clumsy. He is still learning where to put his extra long legs! He is going to be a big dog - a little too tall and big, in fact, for the breed standard; but his soul is all Doberman! He will lean against you for hours and beg for attention and he loves to have his ears rubbed. This gentle giant would do well as the only dog or could easily get along with a pack, and he’s going to make some lucky adopter very glad they found him!
