My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name was Billy when I first came to the rescue, but I was adopted from Rockyspot a while back and my new family named me Sergeant Pepper! But after moving across the country, after loving me for a few years they had a baby and decided that, between the difficulties of having a baby and the challenges I was starting to face as a senior dog, they didn't want me any more. So a lot of nice people stepped in to get me to a foster home in Cincinatti. If you want me as your new friend, they will help get me transported to you too!

I am about 10 years old, maybe even a little older, and the vet thinks I may have arthritis in my lower back. I do need a little help getting up and down, and I am house trained but I do best when I am on a schedule where I get to have regular potty breaks outside. (My foster mom says I can make it all day while she is at work full time, as long as I get to go out in the morning before she leaves.) I'd love to come live with you in a quiet home, and one without any steps or stairs to get up and down would be best. I love to cuddle with you on the couch, and to snuggle down in a comfy soft bed. If you are looking for a quiet and loving companion, I may be your man!
