My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

****ADOPTED****
Hello there! Happy little Judy here, a super sweet 10 year old beagle girl. Actually my foster family calls me Sidney, Sid or Squishy toes because I have the cutest fat little toes. I'm so thankful to Arizona Beagle Rescue for getting me out of that shelter. No sweetheart like me should ever have to be in there. My foster mom says I am so loving. I love to give kisses and cuddle up next to you for a belly rub or just to take a nap. There are a lot of other dogs here and cats too! I get along wonderfully with all of them. I have a ton of energy and I'm told its pretty cute when I get going. I can stand up on my hind legs f or a really long time and that always makes my foster parents smile.! My tail is always going because I'm just so happy when I'm near my people. At first I slept at the end of my foster parents bed, but now I sleep in my own bed next to theirs quite happily. I love going for car rides and walks and places where I can sniff new things.
The right side of my face does have some paralysis from something that happened a long time ago, but it doesn't cause any problems. They tell me it gives me character anyway. I have to agree! I have been on medical hold, but not anymore! AZBR was afraid I had cancer because of these lumps on my tummy. I had surgery to have them removed and it turns out they were only fatty tumors! Whew!
I'm looking pretty trim now and I'm ready for my forever family. I have some separation issues. I do well in a kennel with a chewy, like a nylabone or a kong with some peanut butter in it. This keeps me occupied while my foster parents are away for a bit. The ideal home would be with a family that is home most of the time because all I want is to be with my family. Also a doggie door would be really great!! Please consider adopting me as I will give you as much love as beagley as possible!
