My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Casey is a handsome young gentleman! He's a year old retriever/collie mix and around 50 pounds and has the best smile ever. He was on doggy death row in a rural Kentucky shelter before HART rescued him so he has a lot to smile about these days. His foster family can’t understand why he was there because he is so sweet and an all around good boy. He's a darling dog, super sweet, and just a love bug. He gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home especially his BF Sirrus who is also available for adoption as well as the children. He lives with cats at his foster home and upon meeting the friendliest of the cats all he did was sniff and walked away, but then comes back to see if he wants to play to. He is crate and house trained . He is a very nice dog and will make a wonderful addition to your family. He needs a playmate and a fenced in back yard, he can’t be the only dog in the house. Could that family be yours?

All HART dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines, including bordatella and rabies. They are heartworm tested and on preventative for heartworm, fleas, and ticks. If you are interested in any of our pets, you must complete an online dog adoption application at www.rescueAhart.org . The application will put you in touch with this wonderful dog's foster family so you can schedule a meeting. Thanks! www.rescueAhart.org
