Maggie Mae's Story...
2 to 3 year old Maggie Mae was rescued from a local shelter after being abandoned there by her former owner. She is a very sweet and calm girl that gets along great with all other animals, is housetrained, walks well on the leash and puts her head in your lap to beg for pets. She really likes to eat and isn't picky, so is a little on the chubby side. She is going to make someone a fantastic family pet! If you are interested in adopting Maggie Mae, please fill out and submit an on-line application from our web site at www.sunnysaints.org and you will be contacted shortly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie Mae, a Bellflower St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
