Peanut's Story...
Mary, (named Peanut by her foster family) is a brown mini-boxer,
rescued from a high-kill shelter. She is crate trained but can be a bit
of an escape artist. she is house broken and very friendly. She is
great around children! Peanut is full of energy and needs a lot of
playtime. She is a great jumper (needs a high fenced yard). She is a
faithful dog and can also be very protective. She knows basic commands
like sit, stay, here and down. She alerts when she needs to make potty
outside. She loves playing fetch, climbing to the top of the slide or
simply watching tv. She is very active and loves to be around the
family. If you have children or are looking for a playful pup to love
or simply cuddle with on the sofa, Peanut is your pup!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Apex Boxer/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pug for sale in Apex, or seeking a Boxer/Pug dog from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pug breeders who help with Boxer/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
