Easton's Story...
I'm Easton, a young and handsome gentleman looking for a new home. A home with a family to play with me would be awesome. The volunteers here at SCAC are teaching me things like how to heel when we go for walks, and to sit (but that works best when I know I'm going to get a treat).

I know I had an owner before I came here, because I was wearing a blue nylon collar. Why didn't my owner come looking for me? Everyone says what a great dog I am ... so come meet me and let's see if I'd be a perfect match for YOUR family. (Ask for # A032879.)

I've been here over a month now, so my adoption fee has been reduced in the hopes that I will find a home SOON.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Easton, a Springfield Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
