Meg's Story...
I can't believe that I am still here, looking for my forever home! I'm one of the smartest, prettiest dogs here ... but I guess the right family hasn't come along yet.

My name is Meg, and I'm about a year old. I know that I had a home not that long ago, 'cause I was already spayed and wearing a collar when I was found. The volunteers here have been teaching me things like how to heel and sit on command ... I catch on really fast. Let's meet soon; I know you will be impressed with me. (Ask for # A033426.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meg, a Springfield Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shiba Inu for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shiba Inu breeders who help with Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
