SPECK's Story...
Hi my name is Speck! I am a 4 week old female Shih Tzu mix. HNH rescued me from a vet's office. The owner of my Mom brought her in to be spayed and abort US! We were approximately 2 weeks premature 3 of us and we came out breathing. The owner of my Mom would not take us and left us at the vets office. My brother and sister did not make it :( But I did my wonderful foster Mom has bottle fed me since birth. I will be ready for a furever home in a couple of weeks. Specks will be best suited with a family or a single person. She is the perfect size for someone with a small yard and that can give her lot's of love. She is being fostered in Azusa, CA. For an application visit our website: or email Adoption/donation fee and home inspection required. Why Adoption is a Great Option

SPECK, a Torrance Shih Tzu/Cocker Spaniel puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Cocker Spaniel puppy from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
