Ringo's Story...
My name is Ringo, and my foster mom tells me that I am a star. She spotted me in the play yard at the shelter, and she said that when she saw me, she knew she had to bring me home. I am six months old and very mature for my age. I am house trained and crate trained. I walk well on a leash, and I really do love to go for walks. I am also heartworm negative. There are little dogs and big dogs in my foster home, and I get along with all of them. My foster mom thinks I am a hound terrier mix. All she knows for sure is I am about the cutest thing ever. I am a pretty calm guy for a puppy. I love to play, but I love to snuggle on the couch too. I weigh about 28 pounds, so I will not be a big fellow. I am neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. I'm available for adoption through Friends of the Animals, Baton Rouge. My adoption fee is $100.00. If you would like to know more about me, you can contact my foster mom at pdcarson@cox.net or 225-505-9831.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ringo, a Baton Rouge Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
