Pee Wee's Story...
Precious little Pee Wee was left on our front door step by children who found him in the graveyard shivering next to a tombstone. The starving little puppy had been attacked by large dogs and he was in terrible condition. Of all the dogs we have taken in he seemed like the least likely to survive. After extensive care he completely recovered. He had no broken bones only a scare on his nose. Pee Wee is a sweet pup who loves to be held and carried. He would be the perfect companion who enjoys walks in the park and on the beach as well as rides around the island. Even though he doesn't have a problem with kids we feel he would be best with a loving adult in a quiet environment. Pee Wee is one of our best watch dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pee Wee, a St Simons Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in St Simons, or seeking a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in St Simons.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St Simons already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St Simons breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St Simons paves the way for another one to be saved.
