Tinkerbelle's Story...
Meet Tinkerbelle! This little pipsqueak is one entertaining kitty! She was found in a soccer field when she was just 2 weeks old, and had to be bottle fed til she was old enough to eat kitten food. She has maintained her petite size, and at 8 months old, she weighs a little over 5 pounds. Tink is a real love bug and loves being with people at all times. She contantly wants to snuggle, on your lap or in bed at night! She loves being brushed and also likes bathes! She gets along great with other cats and loves playing with dogs as well. She is current on all vaccines and is leukemia/aids negative. Tink would be best in an indoor home, and would love having another cat in the house to play with! To meet this sweet little girl, please contact Southbury Animal Control.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tinkerbelle, a Southbury Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Southbury, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Southbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
