Mason's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with cats.

Mason's Story...
Mason is a handsome Chihuahua mix who is about 4 years old. Mason is very sweet and loves to be pet and will roll over for a nice belly rub! Mason loves his food and treats but he prefers not to share them with anyone. Mason has a lot of energy and loves to shower you with kisses! He seems to like most dogs but wouldn’t mind having all of your attention to himself. When Mason gets excited he likes to hop on his hind legs like a Meerkat to get your attention. Mason would be best without any cats or young children in the home. Mason seems to be housebroken and likes to keep his kennel clean. Mason will go to his new home neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. Our non-profit D.A.W.G. is graciously paying $100 towards Mason’s adoption fee since Mason has been at the shelter since the beginning of March.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mason, a Mission Viejo Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
