Shania’s Story:
Hi, my name is Shania and I am a little darling. You can call me ‘Princess’ if you like, I am rather regal. Or you could call me ‘sweet pea’ because I’m so sweet and as pretty as a flower!
I am a lilac and champagne Tortoiseshell girl with beautiful pea green eyes.
I’m a little sad at the moment and I am looking for a lovely owner/s who will mend my unhappy heart. You see I had a home. As a kitten I was homed by Forgotten Felines along with my buddy-kitten — we met at the shelter and we immediately became best friends. We thought everything would be wonderful. We thought we could play together and be happy forever but it wasn’t to be.
My best friend was sent away — to another home.
I was left behind.
Then I was returned to Forgotten Felines some time later, I was so confused — what had I done to deserve this?
Forgotten felines came to my rescue once again — and have cared for me these last months — they have never let me down. They know I am a sensitive girl and are helping me to rebuild my confidence and learn to trust again. Forgotten Felines are looking for a loving, stable and quiet home for me — my forever home, with a kind and patient owner/s who will enjoy supporting me every step of the way!
I love affection and I love treats too! And I have a lovely big purr when I am being loved and lavished with gentle adoring attention. I am looking for an indoor-only home to call my very own and a choice of comforts and places to sleep are most welcome!
My perfect match is out there — and it will be FOREVER, this time,
xx love Shania xx

Shelter Info...
Forgotten Felines is a non-profit, registered 501(c)3 organization serving Sonoma County since 1990. Our primary function is to provide low-cost spay/neuter clinics to assist the public with the management of feral or wild cats in Sonoma County. We offer instruction and equipment loans (subject to availability) to help people with the goal of reducing the feral cat population by a Trap-Neuter-Release program. Tame adults we find living in feral cat groups, as well as formerly feral kittens who have been tamed down by our volunteer foster parents, are put through our adoption program. We are always actively seeking volunteers to assist with fostering, trapping, and helping at our thrift store, Pick of the Litter.
Our adoptable cats are available in the Forgotten Felines cat room inside the Rohnert Park Animal Shelter at 301 J. Rogers Lane in Rohnert Park. Our adoption room phone number is (707) 584-4998. Hours are 1:00-6:30pm Wednesday, 1:00-5:30pm Thursday-Saturday, 1:00-4:30 Sunday, closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
Our potential adopters fill out an adoption application and an adoption contract. They also must fill out their personal information for sending off the cat's microchip registration. Our basic adoption fee is $85.00. An adoption counselor carefully guides the adopter through the process, making sure the adopting party is a good match for each kitty. We provide a health record document to the adopter with all health history information including spay/neuter date, combo test results, vaccination history, and any additional medications and treatments received by the cat.
All towns, cities, and unincorporated areas of Sonoma County, California.
